Sheffield-born Kell Brook put on a world class performance last night against Poland's Rafal Jackiewicz. Brook, 25, was the better fighter from the beginning and rendered Jackiewicz, a world title contender, completely ineffective.

The two were fighting for Brook's WBA Intercontinental Welterweuight title, with the fight also serving as an eliminator for a shot at Viacheslav Senchenko's WBA World belt. Brook now finds himself with a twenty-five match unbeaten record, and is looking forward to future fights with the best the division has to offer.

This includes a proposed fight with fellow Brit Amir Khan. If a fight between Brook and Khan was appealing before last nights fight, it is now mouth-watering. Khan is set to step up to the Welterweight division after he fights Lamont Peterson in Washington in December. A fight with Brook would be a good test for him at his new level.
