Paul McCloskey will now fight DeMarcus Corley as Julio Diaz pulls out of May 5th clash

Paul McCloskey (23-1 12KO) is now scheduled to fight DeMarcus Corley (38-19 22KO) on May 5th. McCloskey's original opponent was Julio Diaz but Diaz pulled out of the bout with weight problems.

Corley is a very credible replacement and in my opinion he was the better choice of opponent for Mccloskey in the first place as he has won his most recent fight and Diaz is coming off a loss.

McCloskey V Corley will take place at the Kings Hall in Belfast and on the under-card we will see an all Irish Middleweight Prize-fighter featuring Jon Rea, Eamonn O'Kane, Anthony Fitzgerald, Mark Heffron, Darren Cruise, JJ McDonagh, Simon O'Donnell and Ryan Greene.

The winner of McCloskey/Corley will likely get a shot at the WBC Light Welterweight champion Danny Garcia. McCloskey is a clear favourite for this fight, but does 'Chop Chop' Corley have one more big performance left in him?
