Details are still pretty thin on the ground, but one thing we do know about the Haye-Chisora fight card is that it will star heavyweight Alexander Povetkin making a defence of his WBA belt against mandatory contender Hasim Rahman. Povetkin was last seen struggling to beat cruiserweight-turned-heavyweight Marco Huck, in his first fight without trainer Teddy Atlas.

It was thought we might also see another long awaited British fight on the bill - Kevin Mitchell vs Ricky Burns. To have Haye, Chisora, Burns and Mitchell on the same bill seems so good that it can't be true, and unfortunately it's looking like that's the case.

In the press conference on Tuesday, there was no mention of a Burns vs Mitchell fight, and that makes sense. Frankly, it would be a mistake to lump those two in on a fight card where they won't be top of the list. A fight between the two lightweights is a main event in itself, and it is worth a lot of money on its own.

We're still waiting for details on the rest of the undercard, but even with these two fights it is looking good. We'll update this as more fighters are announced, so visit the subscribe page if you want to keep updated.
