If you're looking to get in shape like a boxer or you're just looking for some boxing workouts to add to your own routine then you're at the right place. You can also find plenty of drills, techniques and tips to help you exercise like a champ.

Because of all the success and enjoyment we had out of Season one of the Boxing Prediction League, we thought it would be a good idea to carry on the Prediction League for another season, and see where it goes from their. We hope to have old and new participants this season.

If your are a new participant, here is the rules post from Season one. Also, for those interested, here is what the final League Table looked like at the end of Season one.

Providing their aren't many fights cancelled, we hope to do twelve weeks of fixtures this Season. Last Season we did five fixtures each week, that has changed slightly for this Season. We will do a maximum of seven fixtures each week, if it's a quiet boxing weekend then we will include as many good fights in the fixtures list as we can, but in some weekends their could be seven very good fights, and other weekends their could be only three or four good fights in the fixtures list.

For Week 1, we have four very interesting fights for you to predict. One is a World Title fight, one a World Title eliminator, and the other two fights feature two well-known boxing name's trying to get a 'W' under their belt.

Three of the fights are in America, the other is in Mexico, unfortunately their is no boxing action in the UK this weekend.

1) Dionisio Miranda Vs Don George. Twelve rounds. Super Middleweights. - This was scheduled to be Don George Vs Adonis Stevenson, but unfortunately Stevenson injured his hand earlier in the week and was forced to pull put. George Vs Stevenson will be re-scheduled for a later date as it is an IBF title eliminator fight.

We still have a fight, credit to Dionisio Miranda (21-7 18KO) who stepped in at days notice to basically save the show. Miranda isn't the most skilled guy in the world, but with 18 KO's from 21 wins, he has the power to make this fight very interesting.

2) Carlos Molina Vs Damian Frias. Ten rounds. Light Middleweight's.  - Light Middleweight contender, Carlos Molina looks to get back to winning ways after his controversial DQ loss to James Kirkland. Molina faces fellow contender, Damian Frias. Frias is a decent boxer, and he is on a three win knock-out streak, but he has lost to all of the best fighters he has fought, so Molina is the big favourite coming into this fight.

3) Juan Carlos Salgado Vs Jonathan Victor Barros. Twelve rounds. Super Featherweight's. - IBF Super Featherweight champion, Juan Carlos Salgado is scheduled to have the third defence of his title this Saturday, his opponent is former Featherweight World Champion, Jonathan Victor Barros.

Here is a video of Salgado's stunning first round stoppage win over Jorge Linares. Courtesy of crownknight33:

4) Breidis Prescott Vs Francisco Figueroa. Eight rounds. Welterweight's. - One of my favourite fighters is in action this weekend, 'The Khanqueror' Breidis Prescott is looking to make it two win's on the spin after his devastating stoppage loss to Mike Alvarado, last year. Prescott is up against Francisco Figueroa, Figueroa has shared the ring with some decent names, but has come up short on each occasion. But anything can happen in a Breidis Prescott fight.

Sample Prediction
George KO
Frias KO
Salgado SD
Figueroa UD

KO = knock-out, UD = unanimous decision, MD = majority decision, SD = split decision.
