After some very entertaining and surprising bouts this weekend, let's take a look at how the League Table is shaping up after Season Three, Week One of our Boxing Prediction League. But first, here are the results from the fights last night.

1) Wladimir Klitschko (Decision) Vs Mariusz Wach
2) Vanes Martirosyan Vs Erislandy Lara (DRAW)
3) Miguel Angel Garcia (KO) Vs Jonathan Victor Barros
4) Abner Mares (Decision) Vs Anselmo Moreno
5) Leo Santa Cruz (KO) Vs Victor Zaleta

Wladimir Klitschko just about won every second of every round against the Polish warrior, Mariusz Wach. Wach, to his credit, did take some huge punchers from 'Dr Steel-hammer' from the first round to the last, and he had some success of his own when he landed a big right hand which stunned the champion at the end of the fifth round.

Vanes Martirosyan and Erislandy Lara will both feel frustrated that their bout ended in a draw. A clash of heads in the ninth round opened up a cut over the left eye of Martirosyan and the fight had to be called to an end. They went to the judges score cards which read: 86-85 MARTIROSYAN, 87-84 LARA, 86-86 DRAW. A rematch is needed.

Mikey Garcia became the first man to stop Jonathan Victor Barros, the stoppage came after Garcia dropped and badly hurt Barros in the eighth round. Barros has now lost two in a row, it's a tough road back to world title level for him. Garcia now has a fight with Orlando Salido to look forward to.

Abner Mares retained his WBC Super bantamweight Title and undefeated record with a surprisingly wide unanimous decision over Anselmo Moreno. The fight was a LOT closer than the judges scorecards, but with the knock-down called against Moreno in round five, and a point deduction in round eleven, it's not a surprise that Mares got the decision.

Leo Santa Cruz was very impressive in stopping the tough Victor Zaleta in the ninth round. Zaleta was game, he arose from knock-downs in each of rounds four, seven and eight, but the right hand that put him down in the ninth forced the referee to do the right thing and stop the fight. Zaleta deserves another opportunity after his performance, and Santa Cruz deserves a big fight with the likes of Abner Mares or Anselmo Moreno.
