Today we have two must see fights for boxing fans, Robert Guerrero Vs Andre Berto, and Vyacheslav Senchenko Vs Ricky Hatton, we'll talk about the Hatton fight in another post. Let's talk about the big Welterweight fight taking place in America. Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero will take on Andre Berto for the "interim" WBC Welterweight strap.

According to most fight fans I've spoken to, this fight can go one of two ways. Either Berto goes back to his explosive self and stops Guerrero early, or Guerrero uses his slick boxing skills to win on points. I share the same opinion. I can't see Guerrero winning by stoppage or Berto on points, although if he scores multiple Knock-Downs anything can happen.

I think this is a risky fight for Berto, if Guerrero loses he has the "I was too small" excuse, if Berto loses to Guerrero, who two fights ago was a Lightweight, his career at the "elite" level is basically over. It's definitely a risky fight for Berto, but if he wins, a big pay-day could be on the horizon.

I personally think Guerrero will survive some shaky moments to out-point the bigger, Berto. I think it will be a 116-112 type of decision in Guerrero's favour. But I wouldn't rule out, or be surprised, if Berto's punching power prevails.

Berto is the bookies favourite for this fight, but if like me, you think Guerrero will win, and you like the occasional bet, Guerrero on points is worth a few quid.

What's your take on this fight? Who would you like to see the winner face next?
